There's a bit of irony in having "internal mails or meetings" when
trying "to involve all meego community users".

Where these meetings *Intel* internal mails or meetings? If so, it's
not on - because bugs.meego.com is NOT Intel's bugtracker to do with
as it will. It's the MeeGo Project's, and so the only "internal" which
is applicable is a meeting on #meego-meeting or mails to this list.

Sometimes something might be discussed in an ad-hoc way between lots
of the experts in the field (although I'd always wonder if Andre
wasn't classed as an "expert"); in that case the appropriate action
is:

  * Document the proposal on a wiki page
  * Email the appropriate mailing list (e.g. meego-qa) with a timescale
for implementation and a request for comment (RFC)

That doesn't mean you have to ask every single person before changing
something, but it does mean publicising changes before making them,
and giving an *opportunity* for other stakeholders to get involved.

Cheers,

Andrew

PS. Bugzilla is one of the most unfriendly bug trackers in existence
(I think they all suck); _anything_ which can simplify the number
of fields presented to the majority of users can only be a Good
    Thing[TM].

PPS. Sorry if this doesn't have the right headers - I didn't get the
original email; but good netiquette (e.g. quoting) seems somewhat
missing on this list anyway :-/
