Wardy,
This
seems to have turned into a discussion on wether you do or don't actually need
the restrictor, but in answer to your original question - I used R31 Skyline
bits. In SA you need to have the restriction + a label saying "Unleaded
Fuel Only". By using the Skyline bits you get both, because the cap has the
usual label already on it.
The
Skyline bits come brazed together, but come apart easily once you heat them up.
I finished up using the cap and the piece that it screws into it (the bit with
the restriction) from the Skyline. I used a piece of mandrel bent 2 1/4"
exhaust tubing which is then brazed to the back of the original flange from the
1600. This gets rid of that silly rubber/plastic bit that always seems to leak
too. The part from the Skyline with the restrictor is then brazed onto the
outside of the original 1600 flange. The whole lot then bolts back onto the car
from the inside.
Oh,
you'll need to put a small "barb" on the steel piping for the smaller
breather pipe too. The 2 1/4" exhaust tubing is then connected to the tank
with suitably sized fuel hose and 2 clamps.
