get yourself a looooong breaker bar and use the socket.
( breaker bar - big fat mofo of a socket wrench with no ratchet mechanism )
or use a non-ratchet socket wrench and a length of steel pipe around the handle
for leverage. Just wait until you try the rear axle nuts, even more fun !
