Can the diff experts out there please have a look at this pic of Wayne's
moustache bar, particularly at the position of the holes where the bar
mounts to the diff cover. I don't recall ever seeing a bar with the holes
off centre like shown. Any ideas anyone, dodgy bar? Off something other
than a Datto? ideas on whether to re-use it or get the stock bar? This
looks like it would jack to diff up and put some unnecessary strain on
the rear x member? any help appreciated. I've left the series of on &
off list posts intact if you need to catch up on what's going on.

You have the bar the correct way up in the drawing and the spacers do go
on the top of the diff between the housing and the x member. Everything's
OK except those holes.
I have sent your drawing to James to put on the Ozdat site as i want
some of the others to have a look at it cause it don't seem right to me
and i've got lots of those bars but none of them look like that.
When James lets me know that the gif can be seen by the list I'll post
this reply with a "please help" tacked on and we'll see what responses
come in.
btw No probs writing direct, no bother what's so ever and you're most
welcome to stay in touch. If you need to know something and for whatever
