Wayne,
The bar you have isn't of a Skyline that's for sure as they have Type 1 (refer earlier post). If the diff is of a Skyline it will be a R180 so to check this out measure the distance between the bottom bolts on the rear cover and see if they are spaced 80 mm apart, if they are not let me know what this measurement is. I'd be inclined to try and find another bar as i don't like that one at all. The bars of the 510/610/240K/Skyline C210 are interchangeable and a replacement should only cost $5, just check to see if the bushes are in good shape on your selection. I'd be surprised if the wreckers at Epson don't have a box of them lying about.

Terry, The guy i brought the car off says he was told that it was a skyline diff by the guy he brought it off ? He could            have been told anything though as he knows nothing about datsuns anyway.            Just keeping it short and sweet this time.               -Wayne

 List,
Can the diff experts out there please have a look at this pic of Wayne's moustache bar, particularly at the position of the holes where the bar mounts to the diff cover. I don't recall ever seeing a bar with the holes off centre like shown. Any ideas anyone, dodgy bar? Off something other than a Datto? ideas on whether to re-use it or get the stock bar? This looks like it would jack to diff up and put some unnecessary strain on the rear x member? any help appreciated. I've left the series of on & off list posts intact if you need to catch up on what's going on.
