I don't recall George driving a 120Y either but that doesn't mean that he
didn't at some time, I do remember that awesome Stanza (what a beautiful noise
that car made) at the Alpine though (i think he won).

The Gerry Ball 120Y started off as a fairly conservative L18SSS and they
developed it into a beast that couldn't hack the power but i can't recall what
engine was in it when it was retired, next time i run into Gerry i will ask
him. I think this was always a developmental car and never the main vehicle in
the stable. They had a bit of a void between the 180B and the 710 and I don't
think Gerry or Greg Cornock could get their hands on one. The accident in the
London to Sydney happened around that time as well and that's about when Greg
went out by himself and campaigned a Fiat Abarth with good success.
