Chris,
I will give you a check list for the bolts to undo to remove a R160.
1. 4 x tailshaft to front flange
2. 4 x left hand 1/2 shaft to diff flange
3. 4 x right hand 1/2 shaft to diff flange
4. 4 x long bolts at front of diff through x member
5. 2 x bolts holding the rear leaf spring to the body
Pull the rear leaf spring which is still attached to the rear cover down
until it clears the body mounts and then pull the diff back to slide it out.
You may have to exert some sideways force to rock it out if the shims are
stuck in there tightly.
that should do it.

gooday fellas
well ive got the diff all unbolted and its ready to come out after the whole
bolt rouned episode and the other one has been oiled and painted as is ready
to go in but i cant get the r160 out.
where it joins the tailshaft and the front of the diff will not budge so i
guess im missing sumthing obvious but it will not budge at all and im just
wondering if any one here could shed sum light it appears to be the only
thing stopping it coming out and its very frustrating
thanks in advance.
