Wardy,
If your throwout bearing carrier is the wrong length (too short) this can
also cause part of the travel to be wasted taking up clearances between the
bearing and the pressure plate.

Wardy,
I replaced both master cylinder and slave cylinders, still did it!!!
Bleeding the system it was great for about 30 kms then crunch crunch
again........ tightened up the pressure plate to flywheel bolts and I
haven't herd a peep out of it since...... however its be off hte road
for 4 months i think now.... cracked top landing on #4 piston. So i am
getting the forged ones under way and am going to get a manifold, either
bought or made, and get an intercooler made up - custom. Things that
really should have been done at the start. Ah well live and learn.
