RE: clutch release problem

You need to tighten your pressure plate. Going by what you just said, your good run yesterday must've been a day when the thing waasn't flopping around inside. If they aren't done up tight enough, the pressure plate is gunna flop around like a swung cat.. And when it does that, the clutch plate has a chance of moving  off center when you have your foot on the clutch.
