Mark,
It's a pity the box has to come back out. Joys of conversions my friend. The
throughout bearing carrier is 50mm overall.

regards

Terry

G'day Terry !

No, there's no sign of shudder on take off at all. So When I've got a few
days off I'll drop the box and have a close look at the pressure plate and
make sure I torque it back up to specs to see how it goes. I've never had
any slippage on the clutch, even on hard runs. Releasing the clutch or
depressing it when idling makes no difference to idle speed, no noise from
gearbox. It's nice and quiet.

What are the correct measurements for the throwout bearing carrier so I can
check it ? Other than the gearbox quirk, the engine is running really well.
No complaints from me at all. Even fuel economy is heaps better that my old
L. (esp with ULP at 90-95 cents per litre).

Cheers,
Wardy
