Geordie,

What's the go with these ignition probs? I thought you got the EMS module
and everything was rosy?

Oh, and yes, it will be worth it. You know it will. Don't give me this
depression jive!

I went for a ride in another SR turbo powered car the other night and I'm
still shaking! 120Y coupe + SR turbo + Autronic + TO4 (>20psi) + sticky
tyres = brown undies!!!

'later

Yeah sure, no problem... .Just as soon as it's thrashable... :)

I am starting to get a little bit dis-heartened by this whole experience.
Just one thing after another seems to be going wrong with this thing, and
everything seems to cost me in multiples of $600 each time. Arrrgh.. It
better be bloody worth it, I haven't really given this car any curry yet, I
have driven it like a granny a few times and so far it seems nice, but I
have serious ignition problems. I have decided to dice the whole nissan
ignition and go for a Mitsubishi twin coil twin module setup running twin
ignition leads. (Probably for want of a better term, I'd call it a Twin
Ignition System!) Idea is that cyl 1&4 fire simultaneously as for 2&3 same
method. Firing order is 1342 I think so this system should work equally
fine. Many ppl have told me that the 4 coil system down the spark plug tube
in the rocker cover that nissan made is a crappy unreliable system, and I
think I am starting to realise why!! :)

2 coils, 4 ignition leads and a twin module later, the car should be
dyno-able...
