Yeesh... I'm kinda embarrased guys.. Dyno test/tune was done on saturday,
but not ideal conditions.
Hot day, Bad Fuel (ULP + 1 month old, not PULP), and apparently a very
restrictive but still legal muffler were all working against me.
The almighty blurbird yielded a whopping 135hp at 4000Rpm before
detonation.... and the Dyno was stopped.. :(
Maxed out at 6.8Psi at 4k rpm, but at 2500+ rpm psi was up around 9, so this
indicates a restrictive exhaust and a dicky BOV arrangement.
BOV can be diddled with some springs and plumbing, I want to setup a
dial-a-boost for it.
If the graph were to continue from 4k up to 7-8k I would imagine it would
see around 200Hp.
Also needs some turbo oil and a new filter too, I was using just totally the
wrong oil, but all this shit is for learning, right!! :)
The tuning was finished up based on the figures and data accumulated, and it
drives very very well on PULP, I gave it a drink this morning and yes, the
legendary wheel-spin in a straight line from 70km/h is not a myth. Just
Squeeze!! I have now experienced traction problems.. :) BIG EVIL GRIN!
