Coil 1 won't fire..

Simple as that.

Car won't Idle either, but that is probably the tuning.

I've either blown number 1 on the EMS module (Which wouldn't surprise me
since I done all my wiring experiments on #1) :)
Or I've blown #1 on the computer, but I doubt this is the case.

I agree with you though, it should help the emissions somewhat.
