ok i bought the calipers today, and they bolted on to the 200b struts and
fit perfectly over the discs, outer edge of disc just above level with outer
edge of the pad(0.5-1mm), inside edge of pad slightly further towards center
of disc(~5-10mm) than the 200b pads, had to use the hilux bolts as the 200b
were a little short on thread, but that was all. damn easy conversion for on
a 200b, havent fitted the struts to me 510 yet but that will be done the
next few days.
the calipers were off an 8/81 hilux 4WD, they have 2 small and 2 larger
pistons
the struts were off a 79 200b, 253mm discs not the db1091 pad type ones.
the struts will need to be swaped on the 510, 13" wheels may JUST fit
depending on the wheel design, my cheviot hotwires fit over them but only
just by 1-2mm.
