Andy,
        if you don't mind using a little bit more fuel take the ball bearing
out of the secondary barrel vacuum advance and try a lighter spring and
you'll be even happier. Don't go too overboard as you can create a
flatspot at speed. Makes a big difference off the line. Also adjusting
the auto change cable to let the engine rev before changing gears helps.
I also noticed a huge difference changing to manual. The borg warner
auto is heavier than my brothers HQ holden one!
