Eddie,
Check out the photo's of my car here
http://www.datascribe.com.au/ozdatonline/featurecars/jakeFJ/jake.html
My FJ is from the Skyline and sits as far back as it could go and still run
a modified factory egr tube behind the cylinder head. Due to my turbo
sitting further back it also required a slight cut and shut where the
passenger side footwell joins the tunnel moving the angled section of the
firewall back to clear the turbo dump pipe. I have about 20 - 25mm clearance
between the sump and crossmember. The sump looks fairly vulnerable but I
have never hit it running 1 inch lowered springs. It is very hard to
remove/replace the gearbox whilst the engine is in the car, it is possible,
but I normally lower the engine crossmember as well. There is more detail on
the Ozdat site or feel free to email me direct on [EMAIL PROTECTED] if
you have any other questions.
Jake
