We used 5/16 copper lines and bent them to suit the original lines that were
under the car while lying under it with a pipe bender.  A good length of
copper pipe in a roll should suffice and is a fairly cheap alternative and
is safer.  No problems in either my old car or Bretts with fuel delivery.
