I believe that's called the Cherry Coupe...they were only privately imported
to Australia AFAIK...my friend owned one here a long time ago...he loved
it....I love the shape too.
Like a Holden Barina here except old-school...classic.
The gear box was actually lower than the clutch being driven by a gear
between the driven plate and the gearbox...correct me if I'm wrong.
If I saw one of those for sale I'd snap it up. Slap some nice wheels and
paint on it and it'd turn heads.
