A drop tank will twist the rear section of the vehicle if driven hard.
Trust me I have seen it done.

Subject: drop tank +RB20 + engine wieghts(sorry errol)

Hey all! Hope everyone is keeping well!

Just wondering if any 'drop tanks' are avail of the
shelf for 1600's. if so, where and how much?
Another thing, theres a guy in the TP with a 1600
fitted with a RB20! How difficult would it be to
squeeze one of these into a 1600?! It would make a
fairly interesting swap.

Errol, could you kindly give the weight of a VG30DET
(not actually for a 1600!). Also, what are these
engines like from a performance viewpoint? I
understand that the engines are sourced from
leopards/cedrics, purely luxury cars. Does this mean
power delivery would resemble this fact? Any extra
info on this engine would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again everyone.
