The guy at Cheapa Auto Spares sold me a new shiney one for about $9 but I
think I got the wrong one...also no needle movement, but earthing makes it
swing over into "cook". Maybe if I got a variable resistor and figured out
how much resistance/current is needed to get the needle to point to where it
should for operating temperature, then check what resistance the sender is
at...
