The R 180 diffs have a larger crown wheel (180mm dia.) and are good for high
power L Series engine applications. Some bolt straight in, others from
later models need the driveshafts as well, or their driveshafts need to be
converted by replacing with 1600/240K shafts.

The simple way to identify the R180 diff is to check the distance between
the two bottom bolts on the rear cover. R180's bolts are 80mm apart. R160's
are 60mm apart.

I saw a white 200BSSS sitting in a front yard in Trafalgar (Victoria) on
Sunday evening. I am pretty sure it was for sale as it was in a place which
regularly has cars on the front lawn for sale. More info next time I drive
through again.
