Zac,
Aussie autos with Borg Warner had individual connections on the reverse
light relay so that must be what you've got. Yes you can pickup the start
solenoid wire from the gearbox and direct it straight to solenoid connection
(black/yellow) wire.

hmm lucky I didn't cut them out then!
There is not a plug on the end of them though, they have individual plugs
that look like factory items.
can I rewire the solenoid wire and bypass those wires?
