Rick,
I've seen compartment light and switch on either side of the 1600, it is on
the passenger side on mine but on the Auto loom wiring diagram it's shown
near the reversing relay on the driver's side.

Zac if it is a auto loom then you can use the solenoid wire as a kill
switch.
Umm Terry isn't the compartment wire on the passenger side strutt tower?? as
it has been on both my wagons and my SSS??
