Terry, I found in the wiring diagram for my loom! It is in the Haynes manual 
page 186. It was there the whole time, I just stumbled on it accidentally. I 
think all the wires are there. I shall study it harder but it looks like I 
could just join a couple of wires as if the relay was closed (completing the 
circuit) all the time.
