You could if it's in good nick (quick rebuild that is) but most time's the
end & centre housing's need work, also rota housing's take a while to clean
up. But yes I'm not sure of the percentage but rota's have far less moving
parts,(eccentric shaft, rotor's, oil pump drive, dizzy drive, that's about
it.). The biggest problem with a rota is not the motor but the stigma of
having a rota. When it comes down to it (power to weight) it's a hard one to
beat. One guy in the States has the badest rota powered 510 I've ever seen,
I'd prefer a turbo V6 myself but he put's up a good argument.
