Bob,

I would be interested in learning about micro controllers etc thank for the
offer and I'll give it some thought. Speaking of fuel cut defenders, this
sort of comes up on here. What we need is a simple device that detects that
the engine has stalled to cut power to electric fuel pumps (LP/HP) even if
the ignition is on. We use a LP gas thingy that connects to the coil and
does exactly that but they are fairly exy to buy. The LPG item will run the
pump for 3 seconds at initial ignition ON and then cut it if the engine is
not started. Like wise if it detects that the engine has been running but
has stalled, then it cuts the fuel pumps immediately. Quite a clever device.

regards
Terry

Hello Terry,

If you guys ever need to do anything more complicated than this, I
will drag you into the wonderful world of microcontrollers. These
little things are absolute gems, and I have had a fair ammount of
experience programming the things, so can bang up fuel cut defenders
etc etc for cheap and easy.
