Yep we are talking about the same support frame I think.

The reason is my car came with a pair of non standard seats (unknown 
origin), flat bottomed, and one uses the standard 1600 runners, while the 
other has these runners exactly the same dimensions as standard except 20 
mm higher at the rear.

the seat on standard runners leans back a little too far (with not enough 
adjustment in tilt to compensate), whereas the other which is slightly 
higher at the rear tilts the seat forward just enough to be in a good 
position. I wanted to find what these runners were from in order to fix 
the other seat position.

Perhaps they did come from the wagon version? I check out the wreckers 
again today...
