If your car is cert'd you can have what ever you want.
A mate as a 2 seater 280ZX fully rosed jointed and adjustable everything front and rear.
I do think making longer bottom arms from four arms is the only way to go.
The bar that goes from the end of the bottom arm to the body at the front is the one you can replace with the tie rod end off a rack and peanut rack.

I'd like to try the shim style though, and it looks fairly straightforward. A lot of good springmakers/ suspension shops can make up sway bars if you give them good dimensions or a template from conduit etc.. for pretty reasonable price.
