Ditto, I got my race car cert'd with rose joints. 

I also survived my armco experience, where I bent the lower arm,
the tie rod, the t/c rod, and the strut, but the rod end was still is one 
piece, albiet the lining was slightly pushed out.

I was using NTN SMRZ10 rod ends.
