Thanks Terry. they have a cable linkage so I will disconnect this and see what happens. I am just unsure as to what might have moved since I removed and replaced the carbies, ie they were running fine before I removed them. I agree re the special tuning, I just want it driveable (although it is probably ok at the moment except when I stop at lights people will wonder what the noise is all about) so I can take it to get tuned. I will keep you posted if I have any luck myself. Thanks again. Lochie
