Could it be something to do with my brake booster?  I removed the carbies to 
drill a hole in the manifold for the vacuum hose to connect to the booster.  
Could this be anything to do with the problem, ie if the booster is not 
working properly would it make it rev higher.  Although, I did remove the 
vacuum hose on the weekend and blocked the hole with my finger and this 
didn't do anything.
