I measured up an S12 Silvia crossmember a while back and
found it would bolt straight into a 910 so it's likely that a Gazelle RS/X on
would, thus making the FJ a direct bolt in job. It would also give you power
steering.

Subject: RE: FJ mounts
Ben,
FJ/1600 engine mount brackets are made up (a couple of designs
about eg Wilkins) to use the stock L16/L18 engine mounts. I thought that
Gazelle FJ mounts actually fit a Bluebird as I saw one once with it done
but may be it's only the L engine series. You could try SSS Automotive in
Sydney and see if they do S3 mount brackets. They are pretty easy to make up
if your anyway handy with a welder.
regards
Terry
to the 1600 guys/girls who have done a FJ
install, just wondering what you did about the engine mounts to get the
motor on the proper angle, im goign to be putting one in my s2 bluey, and
was just after some ideas, as the only one i have heard is using the
standard dirvers side and a 76 galant passenger side
