Couldn't say Terry, I've only used the series 2 one.

Get a series two Bluebird cable and pedal setup.  Just redrill the pedal pivot mount to the same holes as the 1600 one and put it in.  A little "manipulation" of the pedal is needed to get everything in the right place, no big dramas.  The only other thing is to anchor the cable surround to the firewall.  The cable will fit into the fittings for the z18et throttle body no worries.

I did a conversion a few years back and i think that it may have already had a reverse auto gearbox crossmember and a shorter tailshaft with a larger hole for the shifter.Some of the 200b's and bluebirds have a cable setup thats fits with a little work.

You use the L16 engine mounts swaping them from one side to the other and use the L16 sump and pickup.Turbo stuff loves the higher octane of gas but im unsure whether you can use it at the track although it can be expensive to setup.The gas research carbs seem to work best with turbos but some states require that the gas system is electronically controlled if the original motor has efi.Probably need to check it out if that bothers you,your insurance company or the local authorities.
