Bummer luck there andrew,

I spose your best course of action will be dependant on which state you are
in, i assume your in NSW with their car confication laws.  I think that if
they are goign to take your car then they are with in the law to do so, but
i would also think that a good driving record and an explanation as to what
had happened before would help.

P.S.  Have you thought of "selling" the car to a mate for a short while??
then buy it back off him later?? hehehe maybe it would work, but there is
probably a law to stop this aswell
