Ive just installed 240K Struts and brakes and my car now looks like a rally
car at the front, not the idle look when the back is nice and low! But
anyway what i want to know is do the std 1600 springs bring the height back
down to how it should be?
Looking through the history i have been able to get it down to this.
"You can use 1600 springs with 240K struts as they're the same diameter.
It's very unlikely that they will vary the suspension height much as a
stock
height 1600 spring for 70+ struts are fairly short in comparison to 240K
springs. " Terry Rudd
Is any one able to tell me how much shorter the 1600 springs are? and
IMPORTANTLY will they remain captive in the 240K struts? THis car has to
go over the pits and as such they must be captive.
I only have a set of lowered Laser springs that were in the 1600 struts
that were in the car, other wise i'd just try it.
