They are captive in the strut
assembly.
The inserts have been modified to ensure this is
true.
They sit about 1.5in below standard (legal but not
too low)

But tell me, the K-Mac springs. Do they
remain captive in the 240K struts? and what height does the car sit at when
they are installed in the car. Ie above std 1600 height, same, below,
or bombed!
