hi, it sounds like  you might have applied some very heavy primer or spray
putty,  under the paint   which can cause  pin holes .its usually caused  by
applying  too many coats  of spray putty or under coat  far too quickly.

you should really allow  the  primer or  spray putty to flash of between
coats.
