Hi Mark, Re glass dropping, I have found that when you have the window down you can pull the window up a bit with your hands (~15mm) and it will stay in this position as you wind the window up. Therefore with the window in its full up position, it can be pushed down the 15mm again with your hands (not good for security).
Maybe you have sticking runners that are kind of intermittently doing the external job of the hands in the above example, and therefore also allowing the glass to drop down at other times? Ive replaced all channels with new bailey channel and window operation is nice and smooth (plus no rattles :) Ive also had doors with windows that wouldnt align no matter what you did - turned out it was window frame out of alignment during manufacture (look at the top of the frame from above and see that it runs parallel to the beltline of the door). A friend from ford physically 'realigned' it for me - apparently they do it all the time :) Andrew > BlankSorry, I've never had that problem Mark.
