Hey Andrew, it is a series 5 rx7 turbo. the local
turbo place got the turbo off for a fair fee :( they used the oxy torch
method!
But now I have the problem of my exhaust housing
not fitting on the rx7 turbo! the rx7 exhaust wheel is way too big. Can I swap the old wheel onto this turbo myself or does it
need to be rebalanced? What socket do I use, the nuts are odd! It looks like
that would be the way to make it all happen.
The rx7 turbo spins about 5 times more easily than
my old turbo!

Depending
on the type of turbo the exhaust housing goes onto a bit of a taper and has a
heat shroud between the housing and the cartrige.Ive only ever had to spray
some wd40 then hit the ex housing with a hamer whilst holding the cartrige in
my hand.I always use some never sieze on the bolts and housing when assembling
them.
