The twin SU's are great as long as they are in good condition and properly tuned. I have bought two SSS engines in the last few years. Both were both running like dogs when I puchased them. Each needed cleaning, balancing, ensuring the damper pistons were in oil, and particularly setting the jets at the right hight. Both engines had previously been set to run too lean, causing a hesitation on snapping open the throttle open, and a distinct lack of power. Once the jets were set properly the power was restored. You could even pick the sharper bark in the exhaust note. Both engines now pull hard without hesitation as soon as the throttle is cracked open. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Webb" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, 8 November 2002 16:24 PM Subject: Re: su floats needed
