im sure if u thrash the living **** out of any car some damage is gonna happen. put it this way. if u got to drive another car, that was quick and could drive it how u like, everyone here would hammer the lights out of it. which sorry to hear about mark, i reckon happened to his car.

hi, just about any car can be made to ping.dentonate if not driven correctly.
e.g say your in first gear, then go straight to 4 th or 5 th then flatten it , then you will hear it ping,
or towing a trailer etc.. up a hill and got wrong gear....
the guy that took my car for spin, i heard later that he did go from 2 nd to 5th, it would MOST probally be all right IF he accelerated very slowly , but he flattened it causing it to ping heaps and...........
u just gotta know how to drive properly.....

Hey Mark, just a question for someone (me) who hasn't had any experience with turbo cars and will soon have one, if your engine was tuned properly why did it detonate itself to pieces when the other wanker took it for a thrash? I just can't wrap my head around that one, but thought I'd ask so I don't do it to my pride and joy when I get it on the road in the near future.
