Andrew, Now that would be fun - to make it a real outing we could offer Rick (Bates) a lap or 2 at Fairbairn Park in my 16 (long story, I went out there to top up my advanced Govt licence and he flogged my 16 and I had to do the course in a Magna 2.6) and then we wouldn't get bothered by blue & white checkers on the street, we'd have to stay out of the way of his pupils though - (you guessed it - trainee chaser type cops, it's a laugh just watching out there but they learn to drive quite well eventually). One of the tests (competencies as Rick calls them) for their advanced supadupa chasers licence they've got to get through a section with a difficult corner or two, down hill (bumpy as sh*t) across a bridge and up the other side with another corner (stuffed camber double apex etc) just off the bridge and trip the radar trap at 190 or better - it aint easy let me tell you and you need balls (females also have done it) to even go close, (the 16 gets a bit ragged with the L series in it but it can do it just), so you can imagine how close to grief you are in a Falcodore T50 SS. The bike guy/gals have to run a BMW whatever they are across that section - the bumps are the problem on a bike but they can do it.
