If only clutch problems evident then you were fortunate. You should have checked all of the fluid level i.e. brakes, clutch, coolant, oil after a 5 months hibernation. Moisture gets into rubber seals and shrivels them to the point that they leak - not good for your health if you don't check it all out before the first drive.
