It is 'generally' accepted that 240Z's were not available in Australia prior to 1970. That is, there is really no such thing as a 1969 RHD Oz spec 240Z, even tho you see some advertised as such. Certain individuals in the NDSOC spent a lot of time and effort trying to prove that '1969' 240Z's made it to Australia, mainly so that they could compete in certain race classes (Group Sb, I think). In the end, it could not be proved that such RHD cars existed, even tho there is no doubt that approx 500 LHD 240Z's made it to the US in 1969.
