Stuey,

There are a few obvious differences - Calliper bolt spacing is 3" on 1600,
3.5" on 200B, Akabono callipers on 1600, Girlock or Sumitomo on 200B, stub
axle thickness is 68mm on 1600, 73mm on 200B, hub height is 44mm on 1600,
either 48mm (early) or 35.5mm on late 200B, disc diameter on 1600 is 232mm,
early 200B is 253mm or 244mm on the late model.

regards
Terry

Subject: HELP: strut probs, brake advice?

hi all, got to the point of removing the 1600 struts to replace them with
200B struts, only to find out that they are the same as what is in the car
already. Is there a way to tell the to, 1600 and 200b struts apart? im
guessing that the discs would be bigger.
Also, would it be worth getting some R31 skyline or 240K struts? I am
running a mildly worked L20B. Im also thinking of a disc conversion for the
back. What is the better choice and what is involved in the procedure.
Ultimately i would like to convert front and rear to 5 stud, not 4. Any
help would be great, as this has stopped my process.
Thanks for your help.........Stuey
