Sounds like you may have dislodged
some crap inside the tank. I haven`t heard of Optimax causing starving
problems (but have heard that it can damage rubber hoses/components). Drain
the tank and blow out the lines with compressed air ( just make sure you
disconnect hose from carby end), replace the fuel filter and try again. If
you want the best filtration use a metal cased filter to suit an EFI system.
These filter down a lot further than the normal fuel filters. I used one
on my old race car with twin 45`s and the bowls were always spotless. I
prefer to use Mobil 8000 or BP Ultimate down here in Vic myself. Kris.
