that is a fair bit of money ..... i didnt expect that much ...... this gearbox hasnt done that much work, it's been sitting for 10 years waiting to be re-built, but anyway thatnx for that guys, i'll tell the old fella how much they are worth ... but him being him would never sell it!!!!!! even if he couldnt drive!!

L series option ones, (2.818 first gear with first opposite reverse) in good condition are worth $2800 - $3500. A series ones $1000.
The trouble with most of these boxes is they are very old now and the gears are very susceptible to tooth root cracking . All components need to be crack tested ($$$$$) before use.
