I always wondered if it was possible to put an RB dual cam series series head on a Nissan L6, they use timing belts, and the L's double-timing chains, so I'm thinking it may not be able to be done, but I'm not sure on that exactly, could
always use two L series cams perhaps *shrugs*

My last car was an Aussie R30 Skyline (L24E), http://r30.drakkan.net/images/bonnet.jpg , I love the L engine ^_^

An L28 can produce more power than I'll need on the street, (or allowed to have for that matter).

I also have the fantasy, of when I get rich enough, to have my own custom block and head made up, the block almost the same as other inline 6 L's, and interchangeable with them, but between 4 and 6 valves per cylinder, instead of 2, and a little taller physically, running a 90mm bore and 86mm stroke (3283cc), and dual cam, based on an L, the custom block though should be even tougher than an engine last manufactured 21 years ago, thus as or more revvable (8000 rpm should be handled by it easily enough, I just hope it wont share the same harmonics
problem at 8200 rpm that L's apparently have that some people report).

Don't say it won't happen, I'm 19 (...well until the end of June anyway...), and I am currently on $30 an hour (just recently am on that now anyway, which I think is great) ^_^, anyway, by the time that happens, I'll most likely be living in Sweden (plan on going on a working holiday there this year some time), and in Sweden... you can supercharge a lawn mower if you
want lol, you can do most everything there.

In the meantime,.. I have my manifold for L's, should a situation arise where I can get a 280ZX soon...

Don't forget these yummy links:

I have more somewhere.... but they'll do....

Oh yes, another engine I am fond of is the VRH35L/VRH35DETT, in the R390 GT1 road car, 3.5 litre twin turbo V8, same capacity
per cylinder as an RB26 ^_^, (magnesium block? wtf? O.O?)...

Anyway... should prolly go do some work..... (web design)....

Wow. I was sloshed. Excuse me. :)

It still is pretty clever tho, that they can keep the Nissan meccano set
alive all these years.
Anyhow too sober now, my apologies...
