Adam I would be inclined to get out the grinder in this situation. But then I'm usually a bit quick to get out the grinder so.... usually I ask here first.... so I guess ur on the right track My issue here is with how much clearance do u actually need. If for example the mount on the other side was a bit soft (old or new?) then u would probably need more clearance on the turbo side.
