Same problem here, there is a wide diversity of pricing. I pay $35/month for some minutes and unlimited data, iPhone users pay $100+. If I want to recreate my plan on a newer phone I'd be paying at least $60/.
There are upstarts that advertise wildly in the $30 range, but once you deal with roaming/data/text messaging and whatnot they seem to be $60-$80 as well.
